I am a creative person. Painting has become a type of therapy and meditation for me. When I sit down to paint, I get lost in the process. I lose track of time when I’m painting and that’s a good thing because I know I am working on healing. I live with physical pain and I am learning to live with grief and sadness. Somehow my pain softens once I let myself tune in to the art of painting. I paint to let myself feel and process and express pain and grief and this helps to relax me and ground me and more often then not, sadness slowly turns to hope as the canvas comes to life and transforms in a burst of bright colors while taking me on a creative journey of some sort. One day at a time. Never give up on hope. XOXO
